Last night my car broke down and I was towed to a garage. I asked the garage to check the car and give me a quote for repair of the damage.
They called me up earlier to say that I need a cambelt replacement and 2 new tires and they would call back again after they have looked at the engine.
He called back and said that there was damage to the engine, he had changed the cambelt and now needed to look inside and is now wanting to charge me £330 for a new cambelt that I didn't agree to.
I don't want to pay this since I didn't agree to it, what can I do?
Charged for work I didn't agree to Watch

I'm an MOT tester, and as Garage businesses go, WITHOUT your approval he is NOT authorized to carry out any repair work. Therefore you can go and collect your car back and not pay anything to that garage, clearly they are trying to make money from you.
Turn up to the garage and speak to the manager if there is any issues then report it to relevant authorities.
