Dear Students

We need some help from the young engineers here in designing a nice logo for a research project (SaSHa, more detailed flyer attached). Not for free of course, the best design will be awarded 100 euros ! The deadline is 10th April, you have one month before submitting your best design/designs.

Kind Regards
Fan Li

BAe Systems developed Silicon-on-Sapphire (SOS) technology back in the 1980's for exactly the same properties.

Yes you are right that it is a similar concept as SOS, but here we are trying to improve the device thermal properties as well, that is why we replace sapphire with a more thermal conductive SiC substrate. Simulation shows it reduces quite a lot self-heating issues, hopefully the experimental results will agree with that.
