I am starting college in September on a business and management course. I am determined to get to uni and complete a degree. Is there anyone who has done the same path with the access course? And was it more difficult to get accepted as aposed to a student who has gone through AS and A levels?

    Hi

I'm a current Access to Business student and received offers from Warwick (33 dist 12 merit), Kings (36 dist and 9 merit), Manchester (30 dist and 15 merit) and Exeter (12 dist and 21 merit, remainder credits at a pass). I also received an interview from Leeds but withdrew. All for management.

I can't comment on whether it is more difficult as an Access student to be accepted than compared to an A level student. But it is certainly possible to be accepted for top universities with an Access course

    Hope this is useful
