Hi. I'm currently in high school but i'll be taking gcse's in may and june (kinda obvious though lol). Anyways, I'm seeking a future career as an historian or anything to do with history. I'm getting straight A's and A* in history and i like studying the subject beyond the topics we do at school. My question is what are the requirements needed to do a course or degree and i don't mean just in the UK but practically anywhere in the world. For example, will anybody reject me if i don't have a science gcse? (even though i see it as being pointless and i won't ever remember the stuff i learnt in the subject again)

You don't need a science GCSE for most jobs or if you want to study history at university, but you should still try to get one if you can. You don't know what future job requirements might be so hedge your bets and just do it.
