I have a substantial overdraft in my Barclays current account

I am not currently in a position where I can even begin to pay it off

I will be earning soon and will need a bank account

I cannot get another bank account for complex reasons, but if I use my Barclays savings account will they divert money from there to my current account in lieu of its overdraft?

    Thanks

Yes, banks have the right to transfer money from one of your accounts with them to another in order to repay the debts you owe. This is only if you're in an unauthorised overdraft though.

It was originally a student overdraft of £200

The reasons are complex and personal so I won't go into them but for these reasons I am not actually sure of what the overdraft is

I assume that since I stopped being a student it will be on interest

Do you know of any way I can get another bank account without showing proof of address?
