How lenient are Reading with missing offers?

My offer is for 300 UCAS points to study BA Philosophy, which would mean I'd need BBB/ABC.

But I was feeling a bit ill and very much of a nervous wreck on the day of my Geography A2 module 4, so I'm pretty sure I've totally messed that up (worse than usual, I actually managed to send my pen flying so far that it almost hit someone on the head). I reckon I'm going to end up with BBC.

Do you think they'll be lenient with this? (Philosophy is in clearing)

The grades to enter via clearing are normally lower than what they would have asked you for, so assuming there isn't a ridiculously massive demand, you should be alright.

I myself was off by 60 points (3 whole grades) and they still let me in because I met what they asked for from clearing.

Basically, don't worry.

Oh, good

There's a possibility I might even get a D in geography too..

How do I find out what the points they want from people on clearing are?

Mind you, from what I could tell there isn't that big of a demand for philosophy at Reading, even from the people applying to it in the first round of UCAS. On the open day I was one of 3 out of about 25 who were putting it as firm..

The Clearing website will come online for this year as soon as people get there results. You'll be able to check how many points they want through clearing on there.

They may accept whatever grades you get through the UCAS website on the day the results are released anyway, so you may not even have to ring them up if you don't quite get what they're asking for.

i have a friend doing Law and the uni made a massive mistake last yr (so that 2nds) and had to take more lectures on this year to cover that mistake so this year they had to take twice the amount of students on to cover the mistake...not sure the mistake ... anyway im getin to the point which is they are going to have to take the same amount of students on next year to. So ring up asap and your be fine whatever your grades.=]
I need at least BBB to enter the course i want to enroll in... screwed up and messed about in the first year. Had to do AS resits during A2 so not wasnt entirely focused on the A-level courses that i took.

Might end up with a CCD even worse DDD. Would they still take me in with this sorta grades?
