    OCD and anxiety often go hand in hand, so I'd recommend looking into counter anxiety methods as well, cbt is something that many people find effective

    I've never actually got rid of mine. To expand a bit on the above, mine lurks in the background most of the time and gets a lot worse in certain situations. But I know it's there even when I'm fine.

    Ive just finished therapy for my OCD. Its not completely gone but its not possible to 100% remove it.
    I still notice it but i can bring it down with a little more work now.
    It was awful before therapy and it does still play up a bit now, but no where near as much.
    It was well worth the treatment.
