I have applied for a scholarship from the company my dad works for and am unsure whether I need to declare this on the form when it asks about additional income. It says you don't need to declare scholarships from universities or the government but as this is from an outside company I assume I would need to declare it?

Also if I do have to declare it then I won't find out whether I've got it or how much I've got until May which is cutting it quite close to the deadline so do I have to wait until I know if I've got it before I can apply for student finance?

    Hi smartalan73

You would not normally need to declare a scholarship.
