I'm starting a health and social care course in September which is two years long, after the 2 years I am hoping to do childrens nursing at university. I would love to do childrens nursing because I love helping people and I enjoy being around children and teenagers and I feel that I would find it very rewarding. My only worry is currently I can be quite funny around people's cuts for an example my mum had a cut bleeding a lot and I couldn't bare to look at it. Is this normal to naturally feel like this but once starting at uni will this change? I really want to do nursing I'm just worried that I'll struggle with blood? Please help did any nurses feel like this before they began nursing?
