Both universities seem good, the 3rd year modules at Manchester met seem better than Leicesters. However Leicester seems better on league tables and have better job prospects.

Which one would you go for from these two universities?

Leicester. As you say, it will likely have better job prospects. What do you like about the 3rd year modules at Manchester?

Which one are you interested in? I agree that the opportunity to study artificial intelligence is good, but I wouldn't worry about the lack of app development courses - IMO that's the kind of thing you can/should teach yourself or learn on a job rather than in a course.

Thanks for that It seems likely that I would be going for leicester. As leicester do a little introduction of artificial intelligence in their first year and you are right about teaching myself to develop apps.
