    Hey!

I have applied to City Law School for the BPTC full-time and I just wanted to know what sort of times the teaching is done. The website says that it is over 3 days and between 12-14 hours a week.

Also, what are the term dates likely to be?

If anyone who has been to City can help me that would be great.

    Thanks

Hi there, I did the BPTC at City in 2014, so take my advice as such.

I would have lectures scattered throughout three days. Usually 2 or 3 sessions per day: lectures and tutorials, with teaching lasting 1hr 30 or 1hr each, between 9AM and 6PM. Usually my sessions would be grouped together, with some 1-2 hour gaps in between - which I would usually spend in the library or getting lunch (etc).

Term dates were similar to University/school term dates - running late September to June, with study breaks and seasonal holidays. Teaching does wind down somewhat before the major examinations.

Hope that helps. When you receive your welcome pack and timetable, this should set out more information.
    Thanks, that makes sense.

One more question, when is the timetables usually released?
