Hey,I've got an interview for Southampton for their Linguistics course, I've already received offers from Newcastle and Lancaster and while I do really like Southampton as one of my best mates goes there I'm just wondering whether it's that much better then the other two to justify travelling across the country? I've looked at the modules and all 3 are great, I love that you can do Psychology modules @Southampton. I also love the modules at the other two for other reasons, so in that regard they all have their pros and cons
I was just wondering if anyone can give an insight into what the student experience is like? The vibe of the uni and the accommodation etc. I like the idea of Southampton but I'm worried about forking out money for an interview when I may not even choose the course.
To clarify I do really like Southampton and could firm it if given an offer, but I just want to go to the best uni possible as I've narrowed it down to those three.
What are the downsides?
