I'm going to be taking Edexcel IGCSE Chinese in May (the speaking exam in April). I'm homeschooled and I know my stuff but I was just wondering if anyone who's done it before could give me any exam tips/tell me what the exam's like (especially the speaking).

I guess it would be the same as any other language paper. The text will be in Chinese in the reading, and you will have to answer in English questions from the text, or you may have some grammar exercises where you have to tick the correct word for the sentence. For listening, you would be hearing Chinese and answering the given question in English. There would be no Chinese writing in these papers. Since it's iGCSE, they may have some questions in Chinese AS WELL AS the text - have a look on the exam board site at some past papers to double check this however
