I've already been given a place studying music production foundation degree, and there as been no further mention of me HAVING to have my grade 5 theory. Is it an entry requirement or could I do my grade 5 after starting the course or?
I am already studying my grade 5 theory but I'm just a bit nervous about not getting it in time for the start of my course?

Have you been given an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where the conditions just don't state grade 5 theory? If it isn't mentioned in any conditions I can't imagine it being necessary, although the only way to find out is to email them and double check. Sometimes when grade 5 is specified they just want you to have grade 5 knowledge by the time you begin your study, not necessarily the actual qualification.

Well i originally applied for a course where it was necessary but got onto the course below where they haven't mentioned it again? But seen as it is a music university i'm assuming I need to have it? I'm hoping you're right and I just need to have the knowledge not the qualification because I've only just started catching up again and the exam is in June so i wouldn't have time.

I am gonna email them just to double check so i'm not stressing, but cheers anyway

I just checked the course page and it only says grade 5 is advisable for that particular course, so hopefully you'll be okay. I hope they get back to you quickly to clarify things.
