Hey everyone, I have a job recruitment application day tomorrow, and i'm really nervous. It says we have to do a 'group task' which really worries me. I'm not really confident when it comes to speaking in big crowds, and the thought of even having to introduce myself in front of other applicants really worries me. Its at a Hobbycraft store, does anyone know anything about Hobbycrafts recruitment process and especially what the 'group activity is', or does anyone have any advice about attending application days, and how to be less worried and come across as quite confident, and less nervous. Thank you!

Getting a job normally involves getting through interviews. Whether you like them or not they are just one hurdle, so you are going to have to spend some time learning and practicing how to do them.

You have to show them you have the skills for the job.

Teamwork, customer service, confidence with customers. There are plenty of books you cna get down at your careers librbary or local library on group exercises. Ots just a case of practice and feeling comfortable that you know what you are doing.
