writing a speech

help with this task; write a speech to encourage local people to use more enviromentally friendly techniques
As this is a persuasive speech, you need to include the right literary rules, like rule of three (which is when you write something three times for emphasis i.e. "Friends, Romans, Countrymen" which is from Julius Caesar by Shakespeare). Also, rhetorical questions are good, especially when they are emotive, like "Our Earth is already dying. How much longer must it keep dying, before we act?" And alliteration is great for emphasising certain points too.
Oh and also use some stats and figures as that means your basing your argument on evidence so people will belive you more :smile:
