How does a loudspeaker work (motor effect) watch

    Hi, please could somebody explain to me how a loud speaker works using the motor effect. I understand the basics, but I don't understand how you could know which direction the force is going to act, as I swear the current is constantly changing direction as it coils, therefore can you not use the left hand rule?? Thank you!!
