bacterial vaginosis?

A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with having bacterial vaginosis when I visited the GUM clinic. I took some tablets and it got sorted.

But lately I think I've got it again. It seemed to start when I had been on the sunbeds a couple of times. Does it occur this often? And do I have to go to the GUM clinic again or can the doctors prescribe me medicine for it if I get it checked out by them?

Would just rather not have to go to the GUM clinic again and build up a record of the number of times I've visited there lol....

i'd imagine the heat from the sunbed could exacerbate it. and yeh you can go to the doc's about it instead, let them know you've already had it treated before though at the gum clinic

well BV isnt a sexually transmitted disease, and its not as if GUM clinics keep records of how often you go and tally them up.
in any case the cause of BV tends to be lack of the normal bacteria in the vagina. using perfumed soaps down below is one cause.
in any case see your GP - they'll be able to give you the repeat prescription of metronidazole.
and dont whatever you do drink booze whilst taking it!
