Hi, I'm going to be starting the Operating Department Practice Diploma in September. I've got one offer and a couple more interviews to go. I'm a mature student who has studied for a degree in the past.My question is... What on earth do I do about funding?I understand the NHS should cover the course costs but I'm not sure how I apply for that.I know I need to apply for a maintenance Loan from Student Finance but I've heard varying things about options for bursaries and the like. Is this something the NHS handles? Individual universities? Individual health trusts/hospitals? How would I go about chasing these down?

    Thanks in advance.

See http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/816.aspx - you should be able to apply for a bursary to cover living costs.
