Hi guys, just wandered what you guys thought of revising in a cafe like starbucks. any alternatives?

Bedroom is the best place in my opinion, it's not busy and full of noises that will distract you.

what about at home, but yes cafe's are usually nice and quite.... quite a lot of uni students hang out at such places too

Revising in coffee shops can be good, yet the fact that they're pretty busy at times could disturb your concentration. However!! You're likely to be more relaxed in a setting like that. I always revised in costa lol but now I revise in my local library and I've found that it's a lot easier to get work done as the distractions aren't as much!

I adore revising in coffee shops… I love the hustle and bustle, the smells and the murmurs surrounding you. It's nice to have a bit of non-distracting background noise imo. I think a coffee shop is a great place to revise :yep: — especially if you also have a thing for coffee… which I do…

It's a great idea, you can put earphones in and have a completely free space for revising/working. Someone above suggested working in the bedroom, which I do most the time as obviously I live with my parents and so I only have one room to myself, but I don't think you should revise in your bedroom if you're close enough to a library/coffee shop where you can work. This is simply because if you don't separate your student life and working from when it's time to relax and have some time doing things you enjoy, your mind is going to be clouded and you're more likely to procrastinate and your revision will be less efficient.
