hi, can someone tell me what is is like doing a nursing degree and juggling social life? is it manageable with doing the workload and placements?

is there maths involved with adult nursing?
are placements always on a ward in a hospital?

sorry for all the questions lol

During theory blocks you do have plenty of time for going out with friends, you can have lessons anytime between 9am and 8pm, but you still have to read in your personal time. When you have placement blocks you will need to work between 36 and 45 hours a week on shift patterns with a mentor which can be day or nights, you will have coursework to do alongside placement. Nursing is not like any other course you don't have the same weeks off as other courses may have. Maths is involved with Nursing for things like drug calculations. Placements can be anything from hospitals, care homes, GP surgeries, working with nurses in the community. You also have a placement day in a midwifery setting too. Hope this helps
