Need help with the Normal approximation to the Possion distribution! watch

    The "next leaf" is n=1 (leaf), so set n=1 and the mean is 0.8.

    Then either use a calc, a textbook or the equation for Poisson distribution to calculate it to 3 dp.
    Note that it's fewer than three, so it's p(0) + p(1) + p(2) which comes to:

    0.953

    Wow, I made the careless assumption that I would have had to approximate it to the normal distribution and therefore got it completely wrong! Thank you!
