Should I swap course or not!? Completely confused about what to do :S watch

So I am undertaking a nutrition course (first year), through the year I have found the content really fun and enjoyable but I have been mostly interested in the biomedical work. After what has passed of this year I have decided that I eventually want to go into medicine, but now I'm stuck at what decision to make.

I can stay on and continue doing Nutrition and still be able to get into Medicine after I finish - This could be a good idea because I feel confident with all the modules in nutrition and I know I could pass it relatively easily
I have built a strong interest for biomedical science and I feel as though if I did this course the information I learn will be more applicable to medicine, as well as being a better and more conducive - to medicine - degree overall ; but, I feel this course may be a lot harder and I don't want to regret making this decision if things get to hard.

    What should I do?
