Why do you crush my dreams like this?

    I blame dirtybit
Pal, don't worry, I do think it'll happen at some point. Just don't think HBO will put it on a poster the best part of a year before it airs.

    (Original post by Dirtybit)
    It's fan made? ffs

    Sorry man
    Never trust the internet.

Someone claims to know how all season 7 will go, put it all online, and the poster is based off that.

With regards to the feminist nazis, we should just give them all of the power positions and go "There, you deal with the **** we are in if you are so clever". **** that responsibility tbh.
Might as well **** up the world more than it already is ****ed I guess.

I expect him to go half and half with it - he's quite careful with these things but he won't underestimate you.

The thing is, our backup players are still the likes of Sturridge, Origi, Can, Lucas, etc., so even if we rest half the team, it won't necessarily be much easier for you

It was as hard a draw as we could have gotten Mancs at home would've been fantastic. Still, Liverpool v Leeds, under the lights of Anfield is a cracking fixture.

I don't fear Sturridge/Origi that much, I think as a one off we could potentially deal with those, despite their class. Firmino/Coutinho/Mane would run rings around us.

Without being overconfident, I'd have to agree with that. Teams like Arsenal and United have better players but we've shown the greatest fluidity and consistency so far this season.
It'll be a cracking game though and I really do think you'll give us a run for our money.

Don't underestimate Sturridge - he was wasteful vs Spurs but still scored 2.
Origi is absolutely fantastic; you don't see many bulky players as fast as he is.

It might be a case of us playing our front 3 for the first half and then taking them off if we're a few ahead.

Oh, I agree that it's not the foregone conclusion that many Liverpool fans think it is. If we can keep it tight for the first half the it becomes really interesting, as I think we'll get a goal. Your defence just doesn't do clean sheets.

Whatever happens I'm looking forward to it, its what cup ties are all about.

    You'll get a goal regardless.
We don't concede as many as people think, but we always concede one.

Defensive resilience is key for you - the hope is that we field a weak side/have a poor game, and you can score from a set piece of counter.

If we were at Elland Road, I'd be pretty damn nervous but I don't think we'll mess it up at Anfield. We haven't lost there since January.

Better question is what good can come out of bad relations with Russia? All this antagonism and friction with Russia is escalating the current cold war which would be alot more dangerous than the last.

Before recent times I didn't really have a feeling how the people who lived during height of the cold war felt. It's not a nice feeling tbh. We should strive to reach a consensus with Russia through international diplomacy in order to achieve better relations and solve international crisis more effectively.
Our relationship with Russia is progressively getting worse and I don't see how it'll get any better, especially since we now have Theresa May.

Also, we've just deployed more soldiers to East Europe. The sense is that it's an “unmistakable message – Nato stands as one. An attack on one ally will be considered an attack on all,”

I just have the feeling that it'll escalate..

Well when life is going well for you, you're less likely to get comments or insulted for being a female. The higher achiever males are more likely to be respectful (likely a reason why van drivers have a reputation).

I think it's very easy to brush off how someone feels when you're not subject to it. The guy from the clip is an absolute ****ck in my opinion.
I am not sure about the first part - I would expect its a little of both:

1, higher achieving women face less prejudice/discrimination
    and
2, Women who are determined/focused enough to tackle and work through the many challenges they face, rather then succumbing/blaming others, are more likely to achieve higher.

So you end up with those women who are best able to deal with the problems they face, facing the least problems.. and those women who cant handle the problems they face, facing the most problems. Not really an ideal situation.

For my wife, hers is largely down to culture - feminism is pretty non-existent in this part of the world.. which is surprising as they do actually have huge problems with sexism/equality here. They have barely any of the protections that women in the west have, and frequently are at a clear disadvantage.

When I first came here I held a lecture on equality/diversity at a library for around 50 adults. It was amazing how many of them had real stories of very serious discrimination. The most common being openly refused jobs due to their gender/age. There is no need to hide it over here so employers would just tell them 'sorry, your going to have a baby soon, we cant hire you'.

When my wife comes back to England and sees feminists speaking about western issues.. to her it just sounds like a lot of complaining about nothing. A huge volume, but not actually addressing any serious issue beyond daily occurrences that you would expect between men and women. They may not be nice for women, but to my wife's eyes they are just a natural part of any society that has the same two sex dynamic that we have. Maybe her views are a little to cold, and do not confirm to the optimism of the west believing in true equality + happiness for all.. but well, its very Chinese: piratical and blunt.

The guy in the video is a **** for the way he presented his point. The point itself though is a valid one: to much of our society revolves around offense. To many people are open to being offended to easily, and to many publications are to willing to take advantage of this. Its not just a left problem, as many of my right-leaning friends like to think.. it happens on both sides.. after all most of the mail/telegraph/sun is just offense-porn/click-bait aimed at Rilling up the blood of right wingers.

It will escalate in the same way as it did in the cold war.. up and up and up, until both sides realize (again) that both will loose and no one comes out of the situation a winner.. and then they back down again.

Then the whole process will start again, though my money will be that next time it wont be the USA and Russia, but a different combination of countries.

The only good thing seems to be that we are so globalized and connected now, the idea of an actual full scale war seems just ludicrous.

See I think the opposite - too much is made about freedom of speech and being able to offend people. In most cases, it's just because they want to insult people. What is so **** about your life that you have nothing better to insult and wind-up people?

Yes some issues have contradictory positions and so someone will not agree with your opinion but there's an obvious line between that and then just insulting people because you can.
