I think the key cog in in the Indian machine today was Dhoni.

Outrageous stumping to dismiss Rahman, and a great canny awareness on the final ball to claim that stumping.

His runs with the bat - despite being only 13 - were crucial, too.

Absolutely, mate. I've been the first to be critical of his low scoring in the middle overs, but Christ, he is such a calm head amid all the furore and chaos of the match.

Dhawan desperately needs work. His average is 21.21, and he has only managed a score higher than 25 on four occasions in his last 25 T20 appearances. That's not good enough.

Dhoni joins Kohli, Sharma, Raina and Singh in scoring 1000+ T20I runs.

I feel for Sharma, too. Today was the fourth time Rahman has got him out. Is there such thing as a bogey bowler? Ha.

Pakistan could have done with Bangladesh winning ahead of their game with Australia, don't see them beating them or winning and getting through.

Yeah. India won, so the match must be fixed?

Good thing no one slipped up there at the end and actually won the match by accident, eh?

Bangladesh deserved to win up until the last over. Batting has been a let down for the majority of teams over this World Cup and I realistically can't see India winning it. They rely heavily on only a few players, Kohli for sure.

Well played nonetheless, Aus v Ind should be a cracker.

Yep, and I feel like many people criticise him for that and some of his captaincy. Some of his bowling changes make you wonder what he is doing, and then they end up working perfectly. His calm head is his biggest strength though, lets be honest.

I would drop Dhawan for Rahane. I know that Rahane hasn't really taken the opportunities he has had recently, but he is a better player than Dhawan. India desperately needs other batsman to step up.

I could not believe what they were doing in that last over. It just made no sense. Why hit it in the air like that? Twice?

I do wonder whether Rahman's premature celebrations came back to haunt him yesterday. After those boundaries, he seemed to think the game was won in the final over. I can't imagine India would have done something like that.
