Hi everyone, this year I've applied to Midwifery for a second time. Despite only getting 1 interview last year, I bagged a load of experience during my gap year and successfully gained all 5 interviews this year which I was delighted with. I also finished my A levels with ABB so any offers I receive will be unconditional. These are the unis I've applied to and the current situation I'm in:
- Wolverhampton (failed selection tests)
- Worcester (U after interview)
- Keele (first choice) (interviewed 26th November and still waiting)
- Birmingham City (interviewed 16th December and still waiting)
- Staffordshire (interviewed 3rd Feb and still waiting)
Although I'm still in a very lucky position, the competition for places is fierce and I'm so worried I won't get in again this year. I left my interviews feeling positive but because I've been waiting as long as nearly 15 weeks since, I've been analysing them in the tiniest details and now I feel really paranoid about them. I'm so desperate for an offer as its my only passion. Any advice how I can take my mind off it until I get responses? The thing that worries me most is that I don't know how I'll improve my PS for next year as I already got 5 interviews. Thanks

Personally I think you are definitely entitled to email/call them for an update after 15 weeks!!
In terms of how to improve your statement, if you got 5 interviews it seems pretty good as it is! You could just revise more for the selection tests and if you are not successful this year then you will be able to get feedback on your interviews too. The fact that you have gone through the interview process this year means you will know the kinds of question they ask etc.
I think at this point you still have every reason to be positive. Normally rejections are pretty quick and no news isn't bad news! I would suggest asking the unis for an update. They may have decided and just not updated UCAS yet.
Good luck! I hope you get a place!
