Traditional Spanish Holiday? watch

Me and my boyfriend are wanting to go away for 2 weeks in July, but he's never been abroad. I go every year, usually to Greece. We are wanting to go somewhere that has lots of bars and restaurants and a beach but is quite traditional and not overly busy. Because my boyfriend is half Spanish (his Mum's family are from over there but they lost contact) and he's never been on a plane, he's wanting to go somewhere that's in Spain or similar (i.e. not far on the plane!)

Has anyone got any recommendations of a traditional Spanish resort? Somewhere that a tour company go to would be good as we don't really want to hire a car to get there.

    Thank you
