    Hey,
Firstly it's really cool that your dad wants to go to a festival with you! Secondly, I think Leeds will be great for your dad. Obviously the majority of people there will be young people but I'm sure he'd have a great time. Another alternative is T in the Park - it has a really decent line up this year (Courteeners, Stone Roses, The 1975),our family friends go there every year (they are in their early 50's) - and that would be the one I'd take my parents to.
It's worth just checking out all the festivals online with your dad and deciding between the both of you which one you'd rather go to.

Thanks for your reply. Have you been to Leeds festival before? Do older people usually go there?

I saw a fair amount of middle aged people at Leeds last year. Familes laying out picnic blankets etc. Bring a folding seat or two incase the ground isn't dry and be warned that once it gets dark drunk people can be annoying if you're trying to sit - not looking where they're going etc.

If you go for the day your dad will not be the only person of his age there. And I don't just mean some of the band members.

One of my musical relatives is playing there!
