    I'm doing my GCSE English Language controlled assessment. This is my third time doing it and I am really very confused on what quotes to use, what they mean and how they link back to the 1930's.

    Can you please give me quotes from chapter 4 of 'Of Mice and Men'?
    What do certain words mean? And what does it show about society in the 1930's?

    I would really appreciate it.

    PS: I can't ask my teacher. This is because she starts shouting at me telling me that I don't listen in class. However, this is not true as everyone in our class is under achieving even though they still listen.
