So see, i'm in year 9 and its time to choose my options, and since my school really has no regard for it's students they've limited us to only two options if you take triple science. All in all, I'm taking 11 subjects.
For my two options, i was thinking media and arts since i'm a very creative person and i don't find business or computers all that interesting. I'm also taking all three science, english lit and language and maths as well as a second language and a religious subject. I am well aware that arts is an EXTREMELY hard subject, with loads of coursework but i realy do enjoy it and might want to pick up a career in it. So now I'm left with one option.
I was thinking: Media Studies, Business Studies, Economics or History? I know History is very well recognized by universities, and if i want to go into medical it might be useful. I find it interesting too. Business is something i don't really enjoy but in these days I'm positive it might be useful SOMEWHERE. I don't really know what its like in GCSES, so can someone help me out with that? I like maths, so i was thinking economics. And finally, I really want to go into journalism or something else involving writing since i LOVE that, or maybe film editing and production design. Media is just right for that and it seems super interesting, but then again, it's considered a 'soft' subject, right? Is that okay with all of the other subjects I'm taking, since they all seem pretty academically challenging to me. :/ HELP, THOSE WHO HAVE SUFFERED FROM THIS.
Or does it play no part?
