My sixth form offers the IB which I find really appealing, and I decided to take Chemistry and Biology at HL because I wanted to go into medicine. However, my interest in biology has dropped, partly because of my awful teacher, but I love love love physics and my teacher said I should take a physics degree. However in the IB you can't take triple science, which means that I'll have to choose between biology and physics. If I choose physics that means I won't be able to apply for medicine. Do you think I could still go into medicine with a graduate degree in physics?

Well you could, it would be a lot harder though at GEM.

Tbh medicine is very related to biology so if you don't want to take it at sixth form I would question whether you would enjoy/be capable learning the subjects taught in medicine.

Also as someone who knows, I can tell you for a fact there is basically no physics in medicine whatsoever.

Plenty of universities takes graduates from other degrees, i cant remember if they expect a 1st class honours but I have met a few med students who previously did english and history.ect.

edit: They do like biology AND chemistry a level. Usually a requirement.
