Well I'm not sure cause it didn't happen to me ... but it sounded more like it was travelling around the body.

was it just the once? sometimes i get random numbness-shivers in random places, even when i've not been doing anything different or odd. beats me what causes it though ...

What could trigger a 'dead' feeling in your hands (you know like all tingly and heavy like when you've been sat on your leg funny for a while), going up the arms into the chest then into the stomach and then out through the legs?

Uuuh yeah any ideas?

I had that a few years back...apprently my blood thickness wasnt upto the level it should - I had to take vitamin tablets for abt 6 months nd then i was fine after that !!
