Hi, I'm currently in year 12 doing my A levels and I would like to do pharmacy at uni, but I've really been struggling to find work experience in pharmacies as there aren't many in my local area and so I was wondering if there was anything else I could do which would be just as beneficial? Doesn't necessarily have to be work experience, could be voluntary work somewhere? thanks

Yes basic volunteer work will be sufficient, especially if it is in a place of care such as a care home/school. Ultimately it is what you get out of it rather than what you do.
Your work experience doesn't have to be at a pharmacy either.
But keep trying, I didn't get any work experience till year 13 - and that was only because no hospital would accept me until I was 18 (fortunately enough I am born in early September so could do it early on)
