    Hi all,

I will just quickly point out that I have no knowledge of anything to do with website building so apologies if some of the stuff I say is stupid/basic!

A friend of mine put together some .css scripts regarding a website we were building. Recently, things have come up for him and he has left the project midway leaving me with a load of .css scripts, but I have no idea what to do with them!

From what I can see, it is just a case of uploading them and activating them on the Site Ground address that I have, but with no .css knowledge I am struggling how to do this.

I think I have to uploaded them to Wordpress first? This also makes it more interactive for me to edit in the future if needs, rather than having everything in .css.

Following this, I somehow have to transfer the Wordpress account to my Site Ground account so I can publish my website.

Could anyone please give me help in doing any of these things. I would really appreciate it.

If you need more information then please feel free to ask!

    Thanks a lot guys

CSS stylesheets on their own are practically useless without corresponding HTML files, because the job of CSS is to control the aesthetics of the HTML elements.

If I've understood your post correctly, you just have CSS files. In order to make these work as a functional theme with WordPress, you would need to pair them with HTML files and include the PHP hooks listed in the WordPress docs.

I have a feeling I've misunderstood you, so if you could provide more info, perhaps I can help further.

    Have a great evening!
