    Hi everyone,

I'm interested in being an meteorologist (either that or a statistician). However there aren't many degrees specifically for meteorology. I really don't know a way about this, can anybody help me?

You could look into studying Meteorology at Reading, Leeds and UEA (among others), or perhaps doing a BSc in Geography or Environmental Science for example, and then doing an MSc/MRes in Meteorology or Climate Science/Climatology afterwards?

Physics is probably the most common entry route into Meteorology. Other potential options for an undergraduate degree would be Geophysics, Earth Sciences or Mathematics.
