I got an A* at GCSE which has gone out of the window really and got a B in my AS mock, but I would really like to get an A because I want to drop it... I hate this subject so much!

I guess this doesn't have to apply at just AS, but was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get an A? Perhaps more specifically on what to focus on when writing an essay and how to revise for the subject to do well.

I'm on Edexcel studying Dracula, Beloved and A Streetcar Named Desire if this helps, thanks!
