Interrupting studies in Medicine for a year watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm currently a 3rd year (iBSc) medical student at a Medical School in the UK. I have had a rather difficult two years at University mainly because I have been suffering with rather bad mental health but somehow I have managed to scrape through 1st and 2nd with a solid 2:1 grade. Basically, I am interrupting my studies so I can have the time and space to heal, get better, get medication right etc. and I am thinking about potential means of filling my time.

I'm considering doing a TEFL course and teaching English in Asia for a year..
But also I want to do some online accredited distance courses in business/language/biotechnology as I'm interested in what it takes to be an entrepreneur in the healthcare industry.

    Any tips/advice/ideas would be great....
