I have spots on my face and near my arm and my mom keeps saying that it's because of dirtyness/not rubbing on skin hard enough and I just want to know why they are there and how to remove them.

    Thanks

Could be black heads. You have to remove the dirt trapped from your pores. There are some off the shelf stuff you can buy at boots or superdrug that get rid if black heads. You can squeeze them out but it's painful and if you do use clean hands, disinfect them properly. Do it after a shower because your pores will open up.

They could just be moles, in which case you can't move them unless you get them lasered off by a dermatologist but if on the nhs; only if they're potentially cancerous.
