Hi, I've told my parents last night that I think I've been depressed for about two months now and so they made an appointment for today with my GP, I think its mostly caused due to the fact I've got aspergers.

There's also other issues that I want to speak about that my mum and dad don't know about and i'm looking to know if i'm entitled to confidentiality and what the boundaries for this is so the GP won't mention anything/much to my mum or dad, keep in mind i'm 17

    Thanks

As long as you're not in danger of seriously hurting yourself or others, everything is confidential, even at 17.
