Foundation year is good into any uni, or at least it was for my friend a couple years ago. It shouldn't matter where you do the foundation as its your degree the companies will look at. But the thing that is holding you back is mainly the maths result, so maybe concentrate on improving that wherever you go. I think some firms are looking mainly for Masters qualifications now though so you may want to check if any universities have finance placements with City firms.

Great to hear you've had an offer from us to study on the Foundation Year.
Our Finance lecturers are really passionate about their subject and many of them have worked in industry and bring that experience in to the classroom. We have a good student:staff ratio which means small tutorial groups so you’ll have a friendly and supportive learning experience.
You'll find lots of help and support to help you develop your employability and skills through Keele Careers workshops, events and activities and some of our students have recently done some work shadowing at Royal Bank of Scotland. You can also choose to study abroad and there is the opportunity to do a work placement year between years 2 and 3.
Studying finance at Keele will also give you transferable skills to prepare you for a wide choice of careers or prepare you to undertake postgraduate studies in Finance or related fields if you decide to do more studying.
Daniel is one of our 2015 Accounting & Finance graduates and you can read about his Keele experience here http://www.keele.ac.uk/kms/ug/undergraduatestudentstories/daniellunnuk.
Please get in touch if you've got any more questions and I'll be happy to help.
