On Thursday I went back with a friend after a night out and had sex, oral sex etc.. I'm on the pill so we thought it was fine to not wear a condom.. Anyway on Saturday I was in pain and got put on antibiotics as I was told I have tonsillitis. Then this morning I have developed two cold sores on my mouth. I am afraid incase it is a sexual infection. Can you get cold sores if you have tonsillitis. I am just worried as we didn't use a condom that it will spread if it is the case. I am so worried and haven't stopped crying please help or advise me

Cold sores aren't always from a sexual infection but I would definitely get checked out. They usually go within at least 2 weeks max I estimate. But it's contagious so no kissing. And tonsillitis is easily treated with anitbiotics and rising your mouth with salt water. If worse comes to worst you may need to talk to your doctor about having them removed
