    Not necessarily. It usually means one of the following:

    1) You have received an email - its either been blocked/bounced back/gone to your junk mail

    2) There has been a glitch in the system and for some reason you haven't been processed either way (always a handful of those each year when dealing with 100s or 1000s of applications) - especially with factors like online testing

    3) They have you on hold. They haven't come to a conclusion on your application either way because they need to see how those who have been processed get on before potentially inviting people to the next stage.

    Call the firm up and ask for an update. It is not unreasonable to do so if you have been waiting for some time and everyone else seems to have heard back.
