I couldn't find much information on here and didn't have time to see on applicant day so i wondered if anyone could please tell me about gym facilities and cost etc and can all students use it or just sport students ?
Also i would very much like to join a sporting society but don't play a sport or have much experience besides cross country so was curious if sports societies accept beginners or are they all selective and competitive. Which are good teams/sports to join ?
Thanks

Hello,

Anyone can use the gym and sports facilities, you can either pay each time you use the facilities or there are monthly and yearly memberships available. All students can use the swimming pool at our Parkgate Road Campus for free. There's more information about our facilities and costs online: http://www.chester.ac.uk/campus-life...ion/facilities

To find out more about Warrington Campus fitness facilities go to: http://www.chester.ac.uk/campus-life...ion/facilities

There's lots of clubs and societies that you can get involved in. Don't worry if you have never tried a sport before, you will be able to give it a go at taster sessions and if you like it you will be able to sign up. To see all the Clubs and Societies check out Chester Students' Union's website: http://www.chestersu.com/sports-societies/

Hope that helps
