I'm offered A*AB for geography at Exeter and was wondering how likely it would be to get in if I ended up with AAB? I'm not so confident with getting an A* but have my heart set on Exeter.
    Thanks x

they may accept you if you don't get that A* - if they have a lot of students who didn't get the required grades, they are going to be interested in filling up the spaces in order to get the money to pay for all the university's facilities (via the student tuition fees). that goes as well for foreign students who usually pay a lot more than domestic students. so keep calm - you might just get in either way.
also, exeter's a great university - if you get in, congrats

no one can answer this as it depends on the numbers meeting their grades and this is not known until results are out. If enough meet the grades it is likely you will be rejected. If not there is a chance you will get accepted.
