    economy 7
    keep 1 room warm
    layers
    hot water bottle
    stay out of the house and spend more time in uni
    blankets
    showers rather than baths
    slow cooker and microwaves

    The efficient way is to be as inefficient as possible.

    Kitchen appliances tend to use a lot of electricity. But is this really the best approach? You might even have some kind of fair usage policy and end up paying for it.

    Then you do the opposite of what I suggested and use more of whatever utility it is.

    Heating, immersion heater, washing machine, cooker, oven are the big users.

    have the cooker and taps and electronics on all the time
    turn the heating up to max
