    Hey guys,
I would like to raise money for two family friends, as they had a terrible accident causing them to be paralysed neck down, although one who is the daughter can move her limbs more (still weak).

I have only done one bake sale and raised under £100 which I am gutted to be honest. I'm thinking of doing another bake sale this month. We have this non uniform day where everyone pays a pound so I thought I could make a lot of money if every student pays a pound, but I can't do a non uniform day or anything to do with uniform, and I don't know how to convince them to pay. By the way non uniform day passed.

Do you have any suggestions on how to make a lot of money?
I have two choices: raise enough money for them to have a few sessions of physiotherapy and specialist advice of their paralysis (using the machine etc), or a machine they could use at home which costs..£11,000.

I have no idea what to do I really want to help them. Please, don't tell me that's the end of them, they're paralysed for life blah blah. After nhs funded physiotherapy sessions they managed to have more mobility so I truly believe they can move more if they try again. The NHS cut off their sessions at least some money would help even if they didnt manage to use it for the session or machine.

    Thanks

Do a long run(20 miles for example) or a long distance walk you'll get a lot of benefits yourself and financially for that. Use social media to share it around as much as you can. If you decide to do a long run, you will need to practise a hell of a lot so your body will get used to it. Same with long distance walk

Alternatively, you could sacrifice your hair and shave it off, once again you'll get a lot of money for doing that, you'll get even more if you have long hair and are female. I think it's quite a brave thing to do so it's understandable if you don't want to do it.

I'd honestly do a long distance walk/run if I had to do one but that's just me

Yes, use justgiving.com to get people to donate and share the link around. The worst that can happen with you sharing that link around is that nobody donates, that's about it

No problem also you can dress up in a wacky costume while doing your sponser thing! You could also do an onsie day in your school to raise money! It was very popular in my school!

Social media can go a long way. And also, there are some crowdfunding sites that you can use to reach out. Hoping for the best.
