and then when it comes to normal friend stuff like not judging and sticking up for each other and hanging out, they back away so fast. Like I dont get it, why did you pretend to be my friend in the first place? Or maybe I'm expecting too much of a "friend". Or maybe I just call people my "friends" too easily...

Friends are only really bound by history or mutual benefit so people that pretend just leave you as soon as you have nothing to offer.

You will know who your real are friends are when you are in a time of need. That is when they will reveal their true colours. Don't waste your time with these kinds of people, just ignore them and move on.

I know the feeling, it happens when you're kind and you believe in others. They don't deserve to be your friends tho .. <3

Too true, my 'best friend' haven't spoken to me since I failed my first year in AS - she's currently in uni with her new pals. **** her. We'll see who comes out on top.
