This man and his wife have had to live rough after he was falsely accused of rape (the accuser got almost 3 years in prison. But people have attacked him and his partner, beating them and they lost their unborn child.

Usually these claims are made at the rich and famous for riches and fame from the court case.

Since when is it innocent before proven guilty?

Have you never came across any of these:

Guilty until proven innocent. Thats the way things are these days.

fortunately you are not likely to be assaulted by masked vigilantes for driving at 36mph in a 30 zone... are you ? :afraid:

That's a poor comparison. To be caught by speeding cameras you have to have been breaking the law in the first place. That is in no way comparable to the situation spoken about in the OP.

Really? Have you ever tried to defend yourself from being accused of speeding? Its a legal sh**storm to say the least.

Also if someone is harassing me and making me feel proper crap, why is it that I am not legally allowed to punch them in the face? I feel that if punching people were considered reasonable force when dealing with others trying to get one over on you, then it would act as a strong deterrent to harassment. If lions and bears are allowed to rip each other to shreds without being arrested, then why cant us humans have those rights too?
