    Hi

I'm just wondering if its possible to get onto social work course ( undergraduate) just with Merits? Im doing an access course and so far I have managed to get 9 merits ,9 destictions and 12 ungraded credits so Im half way through. I'm worried that I might not be able to finish with many destonctions at all. This in itself would not be a problem because the unis Im applaying for just want merits but im thinking ,with the course being so competitative. What happens when unis decide who to take on? After the interviews etc. How do they score the applicants? If there are two equal candidates experience wise and both performed great at interview, thet are going to take the one with higher grades arent they? I feel a but down as social work is what i want to do ,just wondering if there is even any point in applying? Any honest views? Thanks
