I am currently doing Psychology, Biology, English Literature and History as my a levels and need to know whether I can drop biology and carry on with the rest in order to do Psychology in university?

You don't need it for many psych degrees.
However, some universities specify requirements for a science A level, and not all count Psychology as a science (but some do). Check individual webpages for details.

Having said that, I consider biology to be one of the most useful subjects to study if you go on to do psychology.
